Photos, animated GIFs, and video clips all work. Your curved text is overlaid on every frame. Motion uploads to the badge as an animation.
The badge screen is a circle. Anything outside the circle is hidden by the metal bezel. Text guides show where the top/bottom words will sit.
For the USB-C badge: plug it into the computer while it’s switched on and it shows up as a small drive (about 1.3 MB) with a BAG folder. Anything in that folder plays on the badge — photos as JPG, animations as AVI.
Tap the button, then pick the badge drive (or its BAG folder) in the chooser. The file is written straight to the badge. Eject the drive, unplug, and it appears. On browsers without a folder chooser the file downloads instead — copy it into BAG yourself.
Uploads your design straight to the badge over Bluetooth — no app needed. Works in Chrome/Edge on a computer or Chrome on Android (not iOS Safari). Keep the badge powered on and nearby.
Before connecting: fully close the Zrun app, and in Settings → Bluetooth disconnect/“Forget” the badge if it’s paired there. A badge only allows one Bluetooth connection at a time.
